Job summary

Rocket Food in London is seeking an outstanding Head Canapé Chef to lead the production of premium canapé and event food for luxury events, delivering dishes to the highest standard. You will manage and inspire the events kitchen brigade, champion innovation, and work closely with our events and creative teams to bring clients' visions to life.

This role focuses on seasonal British cuisine, strong cost control, and rigorous food safety in a fast-paced, high-end environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high-end events or luxury catering.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a large kitchen brigade.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of premium canapés and event food for luxury events.
• Mentor and develop the events kitchen brigade.
• Collaborate with the events and creative teams to deliver bespoke briefs and tastings.
• Drive menu development and food innovation using British produce.
• Oversee kitchen operations, production planning, purchasing and event logistics.
• Ensure high standards of food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor food and labour costs while maintaining quality.
