Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a CAD Manager for a major highways project in the south east. The role focuses on leading Engineering Survey CAD operations, delivering high-quality CAD data and maintaining project standards.

The position is based in South Essex with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). You will develop CAD processes, ensure data accuracy, manage licences and hardware, and collaborate across engineering, surveying and design teams to support safe

Qualifications

Experience in CAD management or survey data management within engineering/design environments.
Proven ability to deliver survey data in multiple CAD formats.
Experience supervising or leading CAD/survey teams is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of CAD software packages (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation).
Understanding of ISO 19650 BIM processes and protocols.

Responsibilities

Act as interface between Engineering Surveying, Engineering and Design teams to enforce CAD standards.
Oversee Engineering Survey CAD operations and provide technical guidance.
Manage production, processing and delivery of survey CAD data per project specs.
Coordinate with design teams for timely CAD information transfer.
Develop and maintain CAD standards, workflows and best practices.
