Client Server Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Lead Software Developer/Engineer (C# .Net Core) to join onsite and help drive the fintech platform forward. You will design and implement core business logic, build APIs and microservices, and mentor a growing team while shaping the product roadmap.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on coding, and a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a top-tier/Russell Group university.
• Experience in a finance/trading/hedge fund environment.
• Strong leadership skills; coaching and mentoring; 1-2-1s.
• Expertise with modern C# .Net Core; Python a plus; OO languages welcome.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and full SDLC.
• Enjoy collaborating on complex distributed systems.
• CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement core applications logic, APIs and microservices.
• Oversee secure, reliable server environments and deployments.
• Gather requirements through meetings and workshops; help shape product roadmap.
• Stay hands-on with architecture and system design.
