Lead C# Developer / Backend Software Engineer in Newcastle is a hands-on leadership role focusing on backend C# .Net core, API and microservice design. You will guide technical direction, mentor peers, and stay hands-on with architecture and coding while collaborating with internal teams and clients to shape the product roadmap.

Based in Central Newcastle, you’ll work full-time with typical 09:00–18:00 hours and onsite offices offering great views.

Competenze

• Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar technical discipline from a top tier / Russel Group university, backed by A's at A-level
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Expertise with modern C# .Net Core; Python skills would also be a benefit
• Solid knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and full SDLC
• Team-oriented technologist who can collaborate and solve complex distributed system challenges
• Deep understanding of OOP, data structures, design patterns and algorithms

Mansioni

• Design and implement the logic behind core applications, APIs and microservices
• Oversee the configuration and upkeep of secure, reliable server environments
• Gather requirements through meetings and workshops and shape the product roadmap with technical insight
• Lead code reviews, mentor the team and remove blockers to deliver high quality software
