The Lead Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping business strategy and driving the application roadmap across the business areas including Customer, Corporate and Field Services. This role will be aligned to a Product area, led by the Head of Product working closely with the Product Team's Enterprise Architect and Portfolio Lead.

This Product Team will work in collaboration with senior stakeholders, product owners and technical teams to understand the direction, and to ensure current and future business needs are translated into effective digital solutions. To achieve this, the Lead Business Analyst will need to be effective in taking a holistic approach to achieving the assigned business area's strategy and vision to influence direction and working at the project level to provide the business analysis expertise.
  • Partner with business leaders to define strategic goals and translate them into actionable initiatives.
  • Working as part of the a 'Product Squad' to develop and evolve the application roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct high-level and detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather and validate requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices in business analysis and strategic planning.
  • Mentor and support junior business analysts across projects.
  • Business Analyst Experience: Significant Business Analyst experience, with proven experience at senior / lead business analyst. During this time, demonstrated the different business analyst techniques and tools
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align analysis with long-term business goals and communicate this via effective roadmaps
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable in following technical discussions and understanding technology strategy and relating this to the business.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Requirements Engineering: Expertise in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and system requirements or supporting the business to perform this.
  • Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Experience working in hybrid environments.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Essential Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and digital transformation projects
Desirable Qualifications
  • Business Analyst Qualification: Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA.
