Job summary

CALLUM is seeking an experienced Build Technician to join our team in Warwick. The role covers the entire vehicle build process, from trim and final assembly to mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, building vehicles from scratch within a bay-build discipline.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with whole vehicles, preferably in high performance or low volume environments, and possess a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive hands-on experience of whole vehicles.
• Fabrication / welding experience is desirable.
• Candidates with motorsport background would thrive in this environment.
• Experience of previous vehicle assembly/build work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Whole vehicle preparation, assembly and build mainly covering Trim and Final Assembly.
• Mechanical and Electrical assembly and build tasks including component assembly & sub-assemblies.
• Building whole vehicles from scratch within a bay-build discipline.
• Profiling, panel alignment and gapping.
• Diagnosis and logging of build issues and engineering improvements.
• Reading and interpreting engineer drawings.
