Job summary

Delano London is seeking an exceptional Senior Breakfast Chef to join our pre-opening culinary team. You will take ownership of the breakfast operation and weekend brunch, leading a dedicated team and delivering a high-quality, guest-centric experience from day one.

You will work closely with the Executive Head Chef to ensure breakfast offerings align with Delano and Lana Lusa concepts, while maintaining HACCP, food safety and kitchen discipline in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Strong breakfast/brunch experience at senior chef level in luxury or premium hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead a breakfast kitchen and develop a team.
• Experience with pre-opening operations is advantageous.
• Hands-on chef who mentors and communicates clearly.
• Solid knowledge of breakfast production, plating and service.
• Flexible to early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own the breakfast operation and weekend brunch, ensuring prep, service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead the breakfast kitchen team with clear expectations and a positive culture.
• Collaborate with Senior Sous Chef and Executive Head Chef to deliver Delano/Lana Lusa concepts.
• Oversee eggs, bakery, cereals, fruit, healthy options and juices with high quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with Front of House and other departments for smooth service.
• Coach and develop Chef de Partie, Demi Chefs, and Commis Chefs.
• Support opening team recruitment, onboarding and SOP maintenance.
