The Role

We’ve built a modern data platform from the ground up, and now it’s time to take it to the next level—developing a well-structured data backbone that enables insightful reporting, quick decision-making, and predictive analytics.

As Lead - Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation, helping to evolve our data and analytics capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role, requiring expertise in business intelligence, data modelling, and analytics, along with strong communication skills to guide the business in making data-driven decisions.

Your Impact

• Empower the business : Coach and develop teams to increase data literacy and improve how we use data in decision-making.
• Develop & optimise data models : Ensure our reporting and analytics are built on a strong foundation.
• Leverage AI & advanced analytics : Identify and implement the right AI tools to support business goals.
• Create meaningful insights : Design reports, dashboards, and visualisations that measure performance and drive strategic actions.
• Ensure consistency & trust : Govern reporting and analytics to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with stakeholders : Work closely with business teams, technology peers, and vendor partners to influence priorities and improve outcomes.
• Continuous improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance our data capabilities and implement innovative solutions.

What We Value About You :

• Deep BI & Analytics Experience : Extensive experience working across reporting, analytics, and insight delivery.
• Visual & Technical Strength : Expert in SQL and Power BI (or similar tools), with a strong eye for data storytelling.
• Data Architecture Know-How : Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, lakes and lakehouse environments.
• Advanced Analytics Mindset : Skilled in leveraging data science methods to support predictive and prescriptive insights.
• Cloud Capability : Experienced in Azure, AWS or Google cloud data environments, including tools like Databricks, ADF, and Microsoft SQL.
• Agile Operator : Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
