The Job:
The Lead BI Analyst will be part of the Commercial BI team, supporting the Network and Scheduling functions through data and analytics. You will take ownership of the relationship with these departments, playing a key role in shaping their data strategy and enhancing how they engage with data to generate meaningful insights.
We are seeking a commercially driven analyst with high intellectual curiosity who enjoys connecting large datasets to business questions and finding actionable solutions.
The role is a lead position, requiring the technical know-how to work on individual projects, but also the influencing skills to move the Commercial function towards a vision of the ‘bigger picture’.
What you will be doing:
You will be working with stakeholders in the Network and Scheduling team to help define a data strategy and enforce standardsas well as a road map to deliver it.
Lead the development of data solutions and products that will enable the Network and Scheduling team to work more effectively.
Be the ‘go to’ subject matter expert from both a technical and business perspective, writing and peer reviewing SQL/Python code deployed in production-grade data solutions.
Triage requests for data to provide the most value and delegating where necessary.
Collaborating with the central data team to clearly communicate requirements and explain the business rationale for integrating and ingesting data into the centrally managed Data Platform (Databricks).
Taking ownership and maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity across all data sets.
Drive innovation, change, and the adoption of pioneering technologies to business users.
