Job summary

Lenny's, Covent Garden, London, is seeking a Head Bartender to lead the bar from day one and shape the drinks program. You will work closely with the General Manager to deliver warm, confident hospitality and set the standard for service.

Ideal candidates have proven bartending leadership, a passion for cocktails, and a track record of crafting exceptional guest experiences in busy settings. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone eager to build something from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender or Head Bartender in a quality, busy bar or restaurant.
• A genuine passion for drinks, cocktails and hospitality.
• Confidence leading and training a bar team.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine and cocktail-making techniques.
• The ability to stay calm, organised and consistent during a busy service.
• A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and festive periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar through every service, setting the pace and standard.
• Train and support the bar team, sharing knowledge and setting the example.
• Manage stock, ordering and supplier relationships for the bar.
• Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service.
• Ensure consistency across every drink that leaves the bar.
• Handle guest requests and feedback at the bar with warmth and confidence.
• Follow licensing, allergen and food safety procedures at all times.
