Job summary

Draken in Teesside is hiring a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) to oversee the maintenance, repair and certification of aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety, while supporting the wider engineering team. The role requires leadership, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and good collaboration across departments; Falcon 20 experience is highly desirable.

On-site, 40 hours per week with alternating early/late shifts; competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aircraft line maintenance as certifying engineer.
• Experience on pressurised twin-engine turbine or turbo-prop aircraft (>5700KG).
• Supervisory or team leadership experience with delivery focus.
• Experience in both line and base maintenance environments; Falcon 20 rating desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft.
• Ensure work complies with regulatory standards and safety.
• Support and supervise the engineering team.
• Lead in-line and base maintenance activities when required.
• Flag risks and manage budgets; liaise across departments.
