The Digital Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to work with a leading Wealth Management firm. The role involves designing and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines and developing data models in Azure Synapse Analytics. The candidate should have over 5 years in Data Engineering, demonstrate leadership in mentoring, and have expertise in various Azure tools including Power BI and Azure Data Lake. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role within a cloud-based environment.
• Proven delivery of data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
• Experience leading or contributing to data platform modernization initiatives, ideally involving Microsoft Fabric.
• Prior experience mentoring others and driving technical standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines.
• Develop data models in Azure Synapse Analytics for reporting.
• Govern and enhance Power BI datasets ensuring best practices.
• Lead development of data architecture and standards.
• Contribute to migration to Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement data validation and quality frameworks.
