Job summary
A leading and growing UK financial services company is seeking a Data Engineer to build Power BI reporting solutions and develop its Azure data platform. Responsibilities include building dashboards, developing ETL pipelines, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL. This position offers an attractive salary of £50,000-£55,000 and excellent benefits, with only 12 office days required per month.
Qualifications
Strong experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory ETL pipelines.
Working knowledge of Azure Synapse modelling and performance tuning.
Good SQL skills for analytics and optimisation.
Understanding of Azure Data Lake structures.
Experience using Git and Azure DevOps in Agile teams.
2+ years experience in a Data Engineering or BI Development role.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models using DAX and Power Query.
Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory ETL/ELT pipelines.
Work with Azure Synapse Analytics on modelling, optimisation, and BI-ready datasets.
Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data preparation.
