Job summary

AND Digital in Manchester is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design and deliver scalable cloud solutions for clients. You will work across AWS/Azure/GCP, lead technical efforts, and evangelize DevOps practices.

You will build and maintain IaC with Terraform, Puppet and Ansible, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive value and outcomes.

The role emphasizes pragmatic delivery, constant learning, and strong communication with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be a specialist in your team, building scalable cloud solutions to solve a variety of problems. To do this, you will need to be able to:

• Have solid experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and willing to learn others where necessary
• Build and maintain an IaC codebase using tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Ansible. You will understand Cloud & DevOps best practices and standards, and embed these into client projects.
• Be comfortable discussing the business/commercial benefits of Cloud whilst being equally comfortable deep diving into Cloud or on-premise platform configurations where required.
• Be just as comfortable troubleshooting across brownfield platform and application domains, as when designing greenfield cloud platforms.
• Have an ability to horizon scan and evaluate new technology options and vendor products and understand how these can be used to solve our clients problems.
• Sharing your skills and experience by being an advocate for mentoring and upskilling of client and other ANDi’s as part of day-to-day activities
• Have experience in leading technical teams
• Show previous experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role
• Have led or worked in a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery environment.
