Job summary

Presidio is seeking an AV Lead Engineer to own delivery of audiovisual and collaboration solutions for enterprise clients across the UK. You will lead deployment, commissioning, and support of AV environments while mentoring engineers and ensuring project success.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, system testing, on-site operation, and strong client communication. A valid driving license and team-focused mindset are required for travel across projects in Greater London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AV engineering projects in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers & Site Manager with installation of systems on large projects.
• Assemble and wire AV systems to design drawings and schedules; test before workshop departure.
• Mount and install AV equipment (projectors, screens, speakers, amplifiers, control systems).
• Configure equipment settings and connections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Provide on-site technical operation services.
• Assist in on-site system maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.

Responsibilities Include:

• To Assist Project Managers & Site Manager with the overall installation of systems on Large projects, both on and off site.
• To assemble and wire up AV Systems, to supplied design drawings and cable schedules, to the highest possible standards. To configure and test systems prior to leaving our workshop.
• Mount and install AV equipment such as projectors, screens, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems as required.
• Configure equipment settings and connections
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
• To Provide on-site technical operation services as and when required.
• To assist in on-site system maintenance as and when required
• Ensure that health & safety policies are always complied with
