Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren, a leading land, environmental and geospatial consultancy in the Utilities and Infrastructure sector, is seeking an Associate Surveyor to lead a land and property advice team. You will ensure high quality work and strong client delivery on major projects in the UK and Ireland.

You will manage objectives, develop client relationships, monitor financial performance and contribute to the firm’s growth through new work and effective CPD.

Qualifications

• Experience with the application and construction elements of major projects.
• Ability to manage client relationships and finances to deliver the Business Plan goals.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to generate new work from existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage a team delivering land and property advice and services for our clients.
• Set out, manage and review team objectives, focusing on work quality, financial performance, client satisfaction and team performance.
• Develop strong relationships with external clients and stakeholders and report milestones to drive service scores.
• Provide ad hoc assistance on other projects to deliver strategic advice and seek financial/operational gains.
• Monitor and ensure time recording and client reporting, maximising billing and gross margin.
• Provide supportive line management with regular one-to-ones and constructive feedback.
