Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Lead Associate in the Law, Policy and International, Enforcement Legal division to provide expert legal guidance on international enforcement matters. The role focuses on cross-border cooperation, evidence handling abroad, and strategic engagement with overseas regulators.

You will work within the Law and International team, managing complex legal issues and relationships with international partners, while supporting deployment of enforcement powers on

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in regulatory investigations, public law advisory work or international cooperation.
• Ability to apply principled legal and evidential analysis to novel situations and to think strategically.

Responsibilities

• Advise FCA investigation teams on cross-border evidence and assistance abroad in civil, criminal and regulatory investigations.
• Review requests for assistance from overseas regulators and identify key legal issues and responsible FCA stakeholders.
