Job summary

Monaghans is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor / Team Leader to join our London office, delivering and managing projects across commercial, residential, education and retail sectors throughout the UK. You will lead a team of surveyors, manage client relationships and drive project delivery and business growth.

The successful candidate will hold a Building Surveying degree and MRICS or MCIOB, with demonstrable leadership experience and strong communication skills to guide complex

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
• MRICS or MCIOB or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in both professional and project-led Building Surveying services
• Demonstrable leadership and management experience
• Strong track record in client relationship management and business development
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage project financials
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of professional and project-led Building Surveying services
• Managing and developing existing client relationships, while supporting new business opportunities
• Taking responsibility for the financial performance and delivery of projects and instructions
• Overseeing and mentoring a team of surveyors, supporting their development and performance
• Acting as Contract Administrator across refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Managing dilapidations instructions and wider professional services
• Advising clients on procurement strategies and project delivery
• Supporting and contributing to business development and service growth
• Ensuring delivery of work outputs in line with commercial objectives and client expectations
