Job summary

Hawk 3 in Nottingham is seeking an Assembly Team Leader to manage a hands-on assembly group within a growing manufacturing business. You will coordinate workloads, allocate tasks and ensure production moves to schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role involves hands-on assembly of fabricated metal components and using a range of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate has previous assembly experience in manufacturing or engineering, proven supervision of small teams,

Qualifications

Previous assembly experience in manufacturing or engineering.
Experience supervising or leading a small team.
Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead and support small Assembly team on day to day basis.
Organise workloads, allocate tasks and keep production moving to schedule.
Carry out hands on assembly work using a range of hand and power tools.
Interpret and work from basic engineering drawings and specifications.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality requirements.
Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members.
Escalate any production, quality or technical issues as they arise.
Work closely with other departments to ensure production deadlines are achieved.
