Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year
Requirements:
- We are looking for 6 - 10 years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
- We require strong insurance domain expertise, including commercial, specialty, and captive insurance.
- We require proven experience in application transformation and legacy modernization.
- We require deep knowledge of core insurance platforms, including Claims, Underwriting, and Policy Administration.
- We require a strong understanding of integration patterns, including APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- We require experience with data platforms, including data lakes, analytics, and data hubs.
- We require cloud architecture knowledge in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- We require TOGAF certification.
- We require strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at a senior level.
- We require excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into business language.
- We require an independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
- We define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and standards aligned to TOGAF.
- We lead architecture for insurance transformation programs across Claims, Underwriting, and Policy Administration.
- We assess legacy systems and design modernization strategies, target architectures, and transition roadmaps.
- We develop enterprise-wide technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- We drive architecture governance, standards, and decision-making forums.
- We provide architectural oversight across projects to ensure alignment with the target state.
- We define integration strategies, API frameworks, and interface architectures.
- We partner with data teams to shape data platforms, data flows, and information architecture.
- We support vendor selection, technology evaluation, and platform decisions.
- We produce architecture artefacts, including capability models, reference architectures, and solution blueprints.
- We engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and IT.
