Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing AI/ML platforms and enterprise architectures.
• Proven track record leading AI agentive architectures and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex and RAG architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native platform skills.
• Security, IAM, audit logging and Responsible AI governance.

Lead Architect (AI & Agentic Systems)
Location: Halifax, UK
Contract: 6-12 months, with potential for extension
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3-4 days per week on-site

I'm looking for an experienced Lead Architect to shape the future of AI-driven operational services within a major financial services transformation programme. This is an opportunity to define enterprise AI architecture, drive intelligent automation and deliver scalable, secure solutions that improve operational efficiency.

You'll lead the architectural vision for agentic AI platforms, multi-agent workflows and intelligent service operations. Working across business and technology teams, you'll translate strategic objectives into target architectures and delivery roadmaps, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient and ready for production.

Key Skills & Experience

• Enterprise architecture, with strong experience designing AI/ML or LLM-integrated platforms.
• Agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, embeddings and RAG architectures.
• Kubernetes, Docker, microservices and cloud-native platforms.
• Event-driven architecture and REST/gRPC API design.
• Kubernetes governance, autoscaling, namespace isolation and rolling deployments.
• AI security, IAM, audit logging and Responsible AI governance.
• AIOps, intelligent automation and IT Service Management (ITSM).

You’ll provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions and ensure alignment between business outcomes, platform design and implementation.
