Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled maintenance operative to join our vegetation management team on the National Grid contract across South Wales. You will operate power tools, follow safety and method statements, and maintain records and risk assessments.

Based between Pembroke and Swansea with site work across Pembroke to Cardiff, you will lead on safety, quality and timely delivery, ensuring programmes and budgets are met while supporting your team.

Qualifications

• CS30 and CS31 required for vegetation management.
• Chipper certification required.
• First Aid and risk assessment training required.
• Environmental risk assessment training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and equipment for cutting and maintenance.
• Follow specifications, method statements and safety procedures.
• Complete site documentation, risk assessments and records.
• Maintain plant, equipment and vehicles in good condition.
• Lead safety and quality on supervised sites and meet programme targets.
