Job summary

PETA Ltd in the UK is recruiting a Lead Assessor to manage a team of Apprenticeship Assessors, delivering high quality programmes. The role splits time between the training centre and visiting workplaces to ensure standards are met and learners succeed.

You will conduct audits, supervise assignment tracking and marking, lead standardisation meetings, and ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA funding rules and awarding body requirements. DBS check is required and a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of assessing apprentices.
• Experience leading a team of assessors.
• Ability to work within a government-funded, compliance-based environment.
• Able to plan and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the team of Assessors and their delivery.
• Undertake audits with Training Manager to ensure compliance and quality.
• Conduct initial assessment of learners for eligibility and funding.
• Oversee assignment tracking, marking, moderation, standardisation meetings and QA visits.
