Job summary

Croda is seeking an Applications Scientist to join the Personal Care team. You will lead hands‑on formulation and testing activities, generate technical insights via data analysis, and provide technical support to sales and marketing, while collaborating across global teams.

The role involves development of ingredients, optimisation of formulations, and clear communication of findings to internal and external stakeholders. Site-based position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry or related field.
• Strong skin care formulation experience and curiosity for product performance.
• Hands-on formulation and testing across emulsions, serums, cleansers, or cosmetics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimisation of speciality ingredients and skin care formulations.
• Manage multiple technical projects with robust design and testing programmes.
• Analyse data to derive insights, validate products, and substantiate claims.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Sales and Commercial teams.
• Prepare scientific reports and presentations to showcase Croda technologies.
