Lead Application Support Analyst

Location: Newport/Hybrid (One day a week on site)

Salary: GBP48,000 per annum

VIQU has partnered with a leading government organisation seeking a Lead Application Support Analyst/Manager. The role involves leading and managing the technical support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of software application issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a technical support team, resolving high-level software application issues as needed.
  • Coordinate software releases, manage release calendars, communicate plans, and conduct readiness reviews.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management processes, utilizing automated tools to reduce errors and monitor configurations for discrepancies.
  • Oversee change control processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading and managing software/application support teams.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., C#), problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Experience leading technical teams and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
  • Ability to provide technical and professional mentoring.
  • Experience managing releases, deployments, configurations, and environments.
