Job Description:

VIQU is partnering with a leading government organization to recruit a Lead Application Support Analyst/Manager. The role involves leading and managing the technical support team to ensure the timely and effective resolution of software application issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a technical support team, resolving high-level software application issues.
  • Coordinate software releases, manage release calendars, and communicate plans.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
  • Develop and monitor configuration management processes, implementing automated tools.
  • Oversee change control processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading and managing software/application support teams.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., C#), problem solving, and debugging.
  • Experience leading technical teams within Agile environments.
  • Ability to provide technical and professional mentoring.
  • Experience managing releases, deployments, and configuration environments.

This position is based in Newport with a hybrid work model (one day on-site per week). The salary is £48,000 per annum.
