Our firm is partnering with a global, product-led SaaS company to find an experienced Engineering Lead with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails. This company offers a remote-first environment and builds a visual content creation platform used by professionals worldwide to create infographics, presentations, and videos—without needing extensive design experience. Their tools are enhanced by AI to accelerate creativity and improve user outcomes.

Location: Remote (within EMEA or APAC )

Time Zone Requirement: Must have some overlap with UTC+8 hours

About the Role:

We’re searching for a strategic and hands-on Engineering Lead to guide the next phase of product innovation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on both writing clean, scalable code and leading technical direction. You’ll have the opportunity to shape engineering practices, mentor a distributed team, and contribute directly to mission-critical builds. A coding assessment will be part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Engineering Strategy: Set and drive the technical roadmap aligned with business goals
• Be Hands-On: Actively code, especially during architectural builds and complex problem-solving
• Grow the Team: Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent while building a collaborative team culture
• Build for Scale: Ensure system architecture supports performance, security, and long-term growth
