Lead Technical Sales Engineer at Honeywell

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Technical Sales Engineer in the Clean Hydrogen and Carbon Capture area of Honeywell Sustainable Technology Solutions. The position is based in Bracknell.

The role involves assessing technical needs related to clean hydrogen and carbon capture inquiries, developing technical proposals, and promoting sales during the development of commercial proposals. The engineer will interface with engineering disciplines and customers, participate in business and sales strategy meetings, and guide pricing and engineering reviews with leadership teams.

Typical projects range from $1 million to $100 million.

Duties
  1. Manage technology selection, process configuration, and proposal strategies to develop technical proposals and deliverables for customer inquiries.
  2. Develop economic studies for the technologies offered.
  3. Articulate the quantified economic benefits of clean hydrogen and carbon capture solutions.
  4. Configure and run process simulations for relevant technologies.
  5. Prepare commercial summaries for project opportunities and present them to senior management during review meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in selling/proposing licensed technologies, process equipment, or engineering services in the oil and gas industry, with willingness to travel globally.
  • Experience with technical sales or process engineering in clean hydrogen, carbon capture, gas processing, or treating technologies, and familiarity with Aspen, ProTreat, ProComp, and Hysis simulation tools.
  • Ability to size process equipment, prepare equipment lists and data sheets, guide design review meetings, and have advanced knowledge of Unisim.
  • Ability to conduct CAPEX/OPEX economic studies to identify optimal solutions.
