Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Birmingham is seeking a highly qualified professional to lead aircraft maintenance and modification operations at our Repair Station.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of maintenance technicians and certifiers, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in civilian or military aviation environments, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage supplier teams,

Qualifications

• Extensive aircraft maintenance/build experience in civilian or military environments.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA/FAA/CAA) and safety management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier maintenance teams for E-7 production, modification and maintenance.
• Lead daily meetings with modification supplier counterpart.
• Promote safety-focused maintenance planning and control.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver daily build plans safely and on schedule.
• Lead daily operations action-tracker meetings to resolve issues and remove roadblocks.
• Coordinate with multifunctional support groups to resolve aircraft issues and ensure updates.
• Interpret and address manufacturing issues to preserve production progress and quality.
• Agree and communicate the second-shift build plan with first-shift management and IE scheduler.
