Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Production Lead to oversee aircraft maintenance and modification operations at a Birmingham-based facility on an initial contracting basis. The role requires leadership of a multidisciplinary team of maintenance technicians and certifiers to ensure safe, efficient delivery of scheduled and unscheduled work.

Qualifications

• Aircraft Maintenance Licence, A&P, EASA, EMAR, CAA, or equivalent.
• Degree-level education in engineering.
• Experience leading aircraft maintenance projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage aircraft maintenance and modification activities to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with supplier maintenance teams and IE scheduler to align build plans.
• Communicate technical requirements and process improvements across cross-functional teams.
• Lead daily operations meetings and track actions to remove roadblocks and drive delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (EASA/CAA/FAA) across operations.
• Interpret issues from manufacturing to maintain progress and resolve recurring problems.
