About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead AI Developer to join our team and drive innovation in Aviva’s Travel insurance offerings. Whether you are newly qualified or have previous experience, if you're excited to deliver impactful projects, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deploy and monitor AI and GenAI solutions within the Data and Analytics team.
2. Support the operations team for Aviva’s Travel insurance offerings.
3. Contribute to Aviva’s GenAI Copilot strategy to enable data-driven decisions for improved customer outcomes.
4. Manage team members, support their development, and establish yourself as a team expert.
5. Collaborate with Quantum to share expertise, foster continuous learning, and promote best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Proficiency in the latest GenAI practices such as prompt engineering and RAG systems, with awareness of emerging technologies like Agentic AI.
2. Experience in integrating services via Python-based pipelines, including package creation and developing user application interfaces.
3. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment through Azure DevOps pipelines.
4. Understanding of databases and SQL is advantageous.
5. Experience or willingness to learn the Software Development Lifecycle, including configuration management and GIT flow, and ability to translate stakeholder requirements into GenAI solutions.
