Lead AI and Data Engineer

Salary: Up to £68,000 + benefits

Location: Edinburgh - hybrid home working

We're hiring a Lead AI and Data Engineer to drive innovation at the heart of a forward-thinking organisation. This strategic and hands-on role will shape AI and data engineering capabilities, delivering impactful solutions across areas like generative AI, predictive modelling, and semantic data architecture.

This is a greenfield opportunity within a well establish company - you'll be joining at the ground level of a newly formed AI and data team, with the chance to define the tools, standards, and culture from day one. As the department grows, you'll step into a key leadership role with direct influence over its direction and success.

AI experience isn’t essential - if you’re a seasoned data engineer ready to step into a cutting-edge environment and explore AI technologies, this role offers the perfect platform to grow into that space.
