Job summary

Héroux-Devtek in Nottingham seeks an experienced Senior Inspector to lead the inspection team, ensure AS9100 compliance, and drive quality improvements. You will operate CMMs using PC-DMIS, interpret results, and mentor inspectors to maintain rigorous standards.

The role focuses on quality control, calibration, timely documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and deliverables. Aerospace experience and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years aerospace inspection experience.
Strong GD&T and technical drawing knowledge.
PC-DMIS (Level 1 minimum).
Experience with FAIR software and AS9100.
Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS and interpret measurement results.
Supervise inspection activities and ensure adherence to AS9100 standards.
Ensure inspectors are trained and competent in inspection methods and equipment.
Maintain tools and test equipment in calibrated condition with documentation.
Oversee accurate completion of inspection records and reports.
Drive continuous improvement of CMM programs, SOPs, and inspection processes.
Lead RCA/CAPA and report findings effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow and on-time delivery while ensuring safety and compliance.
