We’re on the lookout for a Lead Activity Support Worker to take the reins at our purpose built complex in Chester, surrounded by tranquil outdoor spaces and designed for therapeutic living.

Based in our unique outdoor lodge, you’ll lead and coordinate engaging, meaningful activities (e.g. Arts, sports, music, performing arts, forestry and adventure) for children and young people with complex needs including Autism, Learning Disabilities and mental health. This role is perfect for someone who brings energy, creativity, and leadership to every day and finds joy in working in nature.

Your Role as a Support Worker (Activity Based):

  • Deliver person-centred care, in an outdoor focused setting
  • Lead a small team in planning and delivering structured activity sessions that promote emotional, physical and mental well-being.
  • Inspire, coach and develop Activity Support Workers
  • Work closely with individuals with Autism, ADHD, PTSD, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Accurately document activities and follow safeguarding procedures.

What You’ll Need:

  • Vocational Qualification/certification in outdoor education / recreational trained e.g. Arts, sports, music, performing arts.
  • Experience in care (Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health) is desirable but not essential.
  • Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to train).
  • A genuine love for the outdoors and active, creative engagement.
  • Natural leadership experience with, Compassion, patience & a caring nature – making a real difference every day.
  • Commitment to safeguarding & providing high-quality support.
