Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Lead Solution Engineer to join our Commercial Industries Solution Engineering team, focusing on our Communications & Media customer segment.

What is a Solution Engineer?

Also known as a ‘Presales Consultant’ or ‘Sales Engineer’, the Solution Engineer owns solutions throughout the sales cycle, providing thought leadership to transform customer experiences. They work closely with sales teams to build AI, Data, and CRM solutions for prospects and clients, translating business objectives into practical recommendations and acting as trusted advisors during the transformational journey.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and delivering innovative, customized solutions that demonstrate business value to decision-makers.
  2. Leading the solution cycle through collaboration with high-performing teams.
  3. Applying industry experience to develop and present Salesforce solutions.
  4. Articulating the benefits of Salesforce to all levels of stakeholders, from IT staff to C-level executives.
  5. Presenting Salesforce and partner solutions, fostering strong customer and partner relationships.
  6. Demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and delivering high-quality results.

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • Understanding diverse industry business requirements and translating them into strategic visions and roadmaps.
  • Proven success in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training within software organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong time management and teamwork abilities in dynamic environments.
  • Passionate about technology, eager to learn, and inquisitive about how things work.
  • Ability to explain ideas clearly and keep audiences engaged.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Degree or equivalent experience; relevant extracurricular, military, volunteer, or work experience will be considered.
