The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach to join us at Burnley Football Club.

About You

We are searching for our next Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach to be responsible for the coaching and organisation of our U9-U16s Academy Goalkeeper Coaching programme.

The ideal candidate will possess their UEFA B Licence and have experience of supporting the development of Goalkeeper’s.

You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Role Expectations

As the Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver the programme in line with Burnley FC Goalkeeping principles.
  • Take a lead on the players roles and responsibilities on set plays when working with U15-U21s.
  • Evaluate all coaching sessions, documenting achievement of learning objectives or learning action plan for the next coaching session and ensuring matchday learning objectives are linked to the academy coaching programme.
