Job summary

One of Us in London seeks a 2D Supervisor to lead the compositing team and partner with VFX and CG Supervisors. You will guide the creative and technical approach, review frames, and ensure consistent production methodologies.

The role requires strong leadership, a detailed eye, and the ability to balance artistry with schedule demands. You will supervise the pipeline, communicate client notes, and drive quality across shots and sequences while working in a hybrid setup from our Shoreditch

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within a VFX pipeline.
• Excellent communication with immediate team and other departments.
• Deep understanding of film VFX processes and pipeline.
• Expert user of Nuke with strong eye for detail.
• Highly organised and capable of guiding a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the 2D team and coordinate with VFX/CG Supervisors.
• Review shots, provide feedback, and ensure quality standards.
• Manage production workflow and 2D pipeline development, including stereoscopic projects.
• Attend client reviews and lead daily reviews with the Compositing team.
• Coordinate on-set VFX supervision for 2D-based projects.
• Direct tasks to junior, mid and senior artists.
• Schedule work with production and maintain deadlines.
