Job Description:

Our client, a well-established Scottish firm, is currently recruiting for a Legal Director or Partner with experience in either contentious or non-contentious construction, to be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The successful candidate can expect to handle a varied and interesting caseload, including (but not limited to) providing advice to clients on construction contracts, construction disputes, and subrogated recoveries. You will also represent a diverse range of clients within the construction industry, such as professional consultants, employers, contractors, and local authorities.

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 7 years’ PQE and experience in a client-facing role, along with the ability to lead a team and support junior members. Experience in commercial construction is essential. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer.
