Job summary

Russell Taylor Group Ltd seeks an experienced Van/LCV Technician to join a well-established dealership in Crayford, Kent. You will service, fault-find and repair a range of modern diesel and electric light commercials in a professional workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience as Van/LCV/Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Good electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of modern commercial vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on LCVs and vans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete routine repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, clutches and engines.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and repairs.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Identify additional repair requirements and communicate these to the Workshop Controller or Service team.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and job cards accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
