LCV Technician | Poole, Dorset | Full Time | Working hours are 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays when needed | Up to £46,800 per year

Our client is a family-run haulage company, founded in 2008. They specialise in the movement of loose material within the waste, resource and recycling industry, operating walking floor trailers transporting loose items, such as waste, mixed recycling, paper, cardboard, green waste, compost, wood, mixed metals and biomass products.

They are currently looking for an experienced LCV Technician to join their team in Poole, Dorset.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Full UK driving license
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working with light commercial vehicles
  • Ability to organise own workload, work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

What will your role look like?

  • Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on LCVs to identify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on light commercial vehicles, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards
  • Service vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
