Job summary

Kelling Group is hiring Access Hire's LCV Technician to maintain and repair a range of light commercial vehicles at our on-site depot in the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and prepare vehicles for MOT readiness, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, minimum two years’ experience, and a full driving license. Mon-Fri, 7:30am start, 45 hours per week, full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LCV Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics.
• Experience diagnosing faults and performing repairs.
• Full current driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Inspect, diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Repair or replace broken parts.
• Attend breakdowns on site and diagnose faults.
• Process jobs on handheld tablet, allocate labour and parts.
• Follow health and safety policies on site.
• Provide back-up support as needed.
