Job summary

HSE Recruitment Network is seeking an LCA Specialist to join its client’s expanding in-house carbon team and lead development of internal LCA capabilities across live construction and infrastructure projects.

You’ll influence how life cycle assessment is integrated into projects, share knowledge within the team, and help build a robust LCA capability with lasting value. Based in Birmingham with occasional travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dedicated LCA role, ideally gained within consultancy.
• Interest in applying expertise in-house across construction or infrastructure projects.
• Confidence to share knowledge and help a team develop LCA capability.

Responsibilities

We’re partnering with an established business looking for an LCA Specialist to support its growing in-house LCA initiatives. Joining an experienced carbon team, you’ll help develop the business’s internal capability and strengthen how life cycle assessment supports its projects.

This is an opportunity to bring your specialist knowledge into a collaborative project environment, influence the approach to LCA and help build something with lasting value.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Strong experience in a dedicated LCA role, ideally gained within consultancy.

In return, you’ll receive £50,000–£60,000 and a benefits package aligned with permanent employees, with a Birmingham base and flexibility across project locations.
