LBTQ Women’s Substance Support Outreach Worker (18.5 hours/week)
Birmingham LGBT is recruiting an LBTQ (Lesbian, Bisexual Trans and Queer) Women’s Substance Support Outreach Worker to join our substance support team to identify, engage with and support individuals with substance misuse issues and reduce the incidence of poor health among LBTQ women in Birmingham within a harm minimisation framework and the overall aims of the substance support service.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in central Birmingham and will provide substance support services from the Centre and in off-site outreach locations.
Reports to: Lead Development Officer, Substance Support Service.
Terms:
£24,666 per annum (pro-rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions)
Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
25 days’ annual leave per annum (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
Fixed-term contract to 31 March 2025, ongoing subject to funding.
