Job Description:

Birmingham LGBT is recruiting to the post of LBTQ Women’s Outreach Worker to join our substance support team to engage with and support LBTQ women in Birmingham.

Birmingham LGBT is recruiting to the post of LBTQ Women’s Outreach Worker to join our community substance support team to identify, engage with and support individuals with substance misuse issues and reduce the incidence of and poor health of Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans and Queer (LBTQ) women in Birmingham within the overall aim of the substance support service.

The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in Central Birmingham and will provide substance support services from the centre and in off-site outreach locations.
Accountable to: Lead Development Officer, Substance Support Service.

Terms:
£24,666 per annum (pro rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions)
Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
25 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
Permanent contract.
