Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a property lawyer to join our excellent legal services team at Cheshire West and Chester Council on a permanent contract. This role is in the Property team which provides legal and professional support to the Council in the areas of commercial property.
The successful candidate will be a solicitor, barrister or fellow legal executive with a minimum of 2-year pqe, and will be able to provide accurate, practical and timely legal advice with minimum supervision.
The main duties will be: providing mainly property legal advice in relation to acquisitions, disposals, leases, leasehold management documentation, and advising officers, members and Directors.
You will be primarily working from home or our offices in Ellesmere Port and we offer flexi time. We provide training to support continuing professional development.
If you have relevant experience and are a skilful, organised and enthusiastic lawyer, who thrives in working in a busy environment and being part of a team, this role may be ideal for you.
