Australasian Recruitment Company is seeking a Lawyer to join a fast‑growing legal services business in the United Kingdom. You will advise clients on a broad range of commercial matters, manage a portfolio of files end‑to‑end, and act as the primary contact for clients in a technology‑driven, entrepreneurial environment.

The role requires approximately three years PQE in commercial law across England & Wales, with responsibility for tech/IP contracts, privacy matters and employment issues, while

• Approximately three years' PQE in general commercial law in England & Wales.
• Ability to manage commercial matters independently from instruction to completion.
• Experience advising on technology and IP contracts.
• Experience with privacy, data protection and GDPR matters.
• Experience advising on employment law matters.
• Strong client engagement and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client matters independently from instruction to completion.
• Build and manage client relationships as the primary contact.
• Draft, review and advise on a range of legal and commercial documents.
• Handle up to six matters concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders while working autonomously.

LAWYER ROLE:

• Managing a portfolio of client matters independently from instruction through to completion
• Building and managing client relationships as the primary client contact

• Managing up to six matters concurrently while maintaining quality and deadlines
• Working autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders as required
• Delivering work in line with KPI, performance and client service expectations

LAWYER ESSENTIALS:

• Demonstrating approximately three years' post-qualification experience in general commercial law within private practice or in-house environments across England and Wales
• Managing commercial legal matters independently and taking ownership of files from instruction through to completion
• Advising on technology and intellectual property contracts
• Supporting privacy, data protection and GDPR-related matters
• Advising on employment law matters
• Building strong client relationships through direct client engagement and a personable approach
• Utilising legal technology platforms confidently and effectively
• Working autonomously, efficiently and proactively to deliver high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines
