As an integral part of our senior management team, the In-House Counsel is tasked with providing expert legal guidance and support to ensure our operations align with all applicable laws and regulations.
This position requires a robust understanding of commercial law, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, property law, litigation, basic employment legislation, and risk management. Our ideal candidate must be a proactive problem solver and strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a strong ethical foundation.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with various departments, external customers, finance, human resources, and the board, providing pragmatic and commercial advice that drives informed business decisions and safeguards our organizational interests.
We are looking for a confident lawyer who can work independently and advise on a variety of matters when needed. At least 5 years post-qualification experience in the UK, ideally in an in-house commercial counsel or similar business-based legal role.
Strong background in commercial law, contract law, and compliance.
Proficiency in managing complex legal projects and transactions.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company's operations.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
