We are looking for two lawyers to join the Property section of nplaws Places Team. The role involves providing advice and representation to local authorities in all areas of property law.

nplaw is an award-winning public sector shared legal service hosted by Norfolk County Council. We offer a wide range of legal services delivered by specialist lawyers who understand the local government context. We are committed to public service and teamwork, and we are seeking more lawyers to join us.

If you are an experienced property lawyer, we would love to discuss how you might fit into our Property team.

Requirements include being a qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEX, with experience in property law matters such as freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, overage agreements, commercial leases and licences, deeds of easement, and development agreements. Supervisory experience and a proven track record in managing client relationships are also desirable.

We offer a varied and challenging workload, the opportunity to work for the public benefit, and career progression within an award-winning legal service. Our work environment emphasizes work-life balance, flexible working arrangements, and the use of advanced technology. We prioritize staff well-being, providing support such as a buddy system, mental health first aiders, and counseling services. We value diversity and encourage you to bring your whole self to work. Norfolk offers a unique environment of beaches, broads, countryside, and culture.

If you believe you meet these criteria, we would love to hear from you. For more information, please click on the provided links. For an informal discussion, contact Andrew Howlett via email or at 01603 222597.
