Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting experienced Lecturers in Law to support FE colleges across South Wales. You will deliver Law teaching across programmes, plan lessons, assess learners and help them prepare for exams and progression.

Strong knowledge of legal principles, good communication, and the ability to engage learners are essential. FE experience is desirable; role offers flexible opportunities and annual CPD support.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 3+ qualification in Law or a relevant discipline.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legal principles and legislation.
• Experience teaching or supporting Law learners is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage learners and make complex topics accessible.
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• FE experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Law teaching across relevant programmes.
• Plan and deliver lessons covering key legal principles and concepts.
• Prepare learners for examinations and assessments.
• Use real-world examples and current legal developments to enhance learning.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners with their academic and career progression.
• Monitor attendance, progress and achievement.
• Support learners with SEN/ALN where required.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
