Job description

We are recruiting for a law graduate to join our client, an award-winning law firm based in Amersham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent law graduate to come on board with full training offered and the chance to develop into a paralegal position.

The purpose of this role is to provide first-class support to a busy Residential Conveyancing Team. Main duties include providing an efficient and well-organized administration service to new clients by opening and closing files, and producing standard letters and documents as directed.

The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, and be an energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, problem-solving individual with great attention to detail.

Main Duties
  1. Liaise daily with fee-earners regarding required tasks, handle queries, and agree on actions.
  2. Deliver practical services of outstanding quality focused on client needs.
  3. Support with file openings and client onboarding.
  4. Assist with initial administration for setting up new conveyancing instructions.
  5. Handle telephone calls, queries, and update estate agents.
  6. Perform general admin duties including managing incoming/outgoing post, printing, scanning, and photocopying.
  7. Assist with correspondence and documents related to exchange of contracts.
  8. Support the registration process of property transactions.
  9. Assist with file closing and archiving.
  10. Provide ad hoc support to the team and cover reception when needed.
